David Gawith recently completed his PhD in Land Economy at the University of Cambridge which focused on understanding the behavioural barriers to climate change adaptation in agriculture. He has a background in physical geography and development studies. He has been involved in a number of projects assessing the economic impacts of natural disasters, and various approaches to climate change adaptation. Before travelling, David worked in the OECD’s Environment Directorate on a project assessing policy coherence in the land use sector. Beyond his research interests, David holds a strong interest in journalism and film.
