Born and grown up in the foothills of Nepal Himalayas, Poshendra Satyal is now based in the UK. He is a Senior Researcher at the School of International Development of the Univesity of East Anglia (UK), an Adjunct Professor of the Agriculture and Forestry University (Nepal) and an Affiliate Fellow of the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research (UK). With a bakground in the natural and social sciences, he is engaged in interdisciplinary and policy relevant research on environment and development issues, particularly on environmental governance, forest management and climate change in Asia and Africa.
