Culture and Climate Change: Seasons is gathering communities of climate-focused researchers through a series of aligned events, acting as an initiator and incubator for further collaborative and interdisciplinary research responding to the ongoing climate crisis. The series so far includes intimate-scale conversations (Climate Accountability, April 2024; initiated by Anthony Powis), film screenings with Q&A held at the Showroom Cinema, Sheffield (Climate Docs, May 2024; initiated by Laura Mark), global-scale exchanges (Climate Pluriverse, June 2024; initiated by Tanzil Shafique), and interactive activities held at Live Works, Sheffield (Climate ReAssemblies, July 2024; as part of the Participatory Climate Futures project led by Lena Dobrowolska). Throughout the series, we will be experimenting with interactive formats as a means to document and archive all of the conversations taking place.
